WAEC GCE Result Second Series for Aug/Sept 2018/2019: The West Africa Examination Council, WAEC Releases 2018 WASSCE Private/School Candidates Results.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) wishes to inform all candidates who participated in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that the names of successful school candidates 2018 results for August and September is now available online.

The Waec examination results for Private and School candidates have been successfully uploaded on the WAEC Result checking portal. Candidates should proceed to check their admission status using the step by step guide provided below:

How to Check WAEC GCE Result 2018

For easy access, candidates are advised to use Computer with Chrome browser. Those using Mobile Phones should make they have Chrome browser installed on their devices.

  • Visit WAEC result checking portal on (https://www.waecdirect.org)
  • Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. eg. 4123456789
  • Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2018
  • Select the Type of Examination
  • Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
  • Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
  • Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

Note: The result checker PIN and Serial Number are contained on the flip side of the candidates’ CIVAMPENS Card issued to all candidates by WAEC.

How to Check WAEC GCE Result On SMS/Phone

  • Send SMS in the format below:
    WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
    To short-code 32327 (MTN, Celtel & Glo subscribers)
  • For example -:
    WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2007
    Note: Ensure you adhere strictly to the format above. There should be no space in the message.
  • Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)
