Sani offers Mr. Ibu help, vows not to let ailing actor down

Former Nigerian lawmaker Sen. Shehu Sani has promised to do all he can to help John Okafor, the ailing Nollywood actor.
On Wednesday, the veteran comic actor resorted to social media to ask for help as he battled an illness that could cost him his leg.
The actor stated that he had been ill for several weeks and had been admitted to an unnamed hospital.
His Instagram video elicited a wide spectrum of emotions from sympathizers.
Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, described Mr.Ibu as his favourite actor.
“Mr. Ibu is my favourite artist and comedian. He lights up and entertains the homes of millions of Nigerians.
“We shall not let him down for reasons we can all collectively solve. We shall do the needful and also bring the attention of the big names to do the needful,” he said.
