Candidates who wish to participate in the upcoming Civil Defence Recruitment are required to know all it takes to apply successfully for the Federal Government Job. It is for your interest, that we shall equip you with vital information for a successful application.

N/B: For the avoidance of doubt, completion/submission of application online is free and at no cost to applicants. Any applicant who submits more than one application for the same vacancy will be automatically disqualified.

NSCDC Recruitment Basic Requirements

Before obtaining the Application Form, candidates must meet the following requirements. Please to that the application is open to both male and female applicants.

  • Must be a Nigerian Citizen by birth
  • Must be between 18-30 years old
  • Must have SSCE, NECO, GCE O/Level certificates
  • Not less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.
  • Chest measurement of not less than 0.87m for men.
  • Applicants with the following conditions should not apply
  • Flat Foot
  • Sight Problem
  • Hearing Difficulties
  • Previous major orthopedic operation
  • Fracture, Stammering or any other natural disability
  • Must be free from financial embarrassment.

Interested candidates should visit the official Nigeria Civil Defense official recruitment portal on www.nscdc.gov.ng or https://www.cdfipb.careers/ to register. Please note that the application form is free and multiple application will be disqualified.


The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have warned the public to be cautious of any recruitment scam activities. NSCDC advised interested job-seekers to report anyone/individual who charges/compel or attempt to solicit up-front fees (eg. Application, processing fee).
