Nigerian Police Force JAMB Screening Exercise 2019/2020: JAMB Will Conduct Aptitude Test For Police Constable (Recruits) Shortlisted Candidates.

The management of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that all candidates who participated in the Nigeria Police Force, NPF Constables Recruitment Exercise must undergo a written aptitude test to be conducted by the board.

All shortlisted candidates must participate in the screening exercise which includes: Psychological Interview, HIV Screening, Pregnancy Test and Written Aptitude Test Examination to be Conducted by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This was disclosed by the Nigeria Police Force spokesman, Mr. Jimoh Moshood.

The spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, said this is the first time candidates to be recruited into the police force will undergo physical screening and write aptitude test conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to ensure transparency and get the best out of the candidates.

Additionally, shortlisted candidates will equally be undergoing various forms of medical and fitness test in the various areas:

  1. Visual Assessment which covers far and near visual acuity, binocular vision, color vision, visual field testing, and pathology.
  2. Psychological evolution of the candidates which covers psychological interview, personality, and integrity as well as drug screening.
  3. General medical test which covers blood pressure, sugar, body mass index, hepatitis b and c, HIV screening, Tuberculosis, antigen in serum and pregnancy test (for women only).
