The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is an independent regulatory agency that was established on October 31, 2005, as part of the Electricity Sector Reform Act of 2005. The Commission responsibility and functions include Monitoring and regulation of the electricity industry, issuance of licensing to market participants and ensure compliance with market regulations and operational guidelines.

NERC Recruitment Basic Requirements

Candidates who wish to apply for the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission Job Vacancies must meet the following conditions:

  • Must have a B.Sc/HND/NCE/OND degree from a recognized institution
  • Must have WASC/SSSC/NECO/GCE with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and Mathematics
  • Age requirements: Candidates must be between 22-35 years old.
  • The application form is open to both male and female applicants
  • Must have Excellent Communication skills.
