Keyamo urges Atiku to apologize to Tinubu, Nigerians over CSU certificate saga

Foetus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has responded to President Bola Tinubu’s academic results released by Chicago State University (CSU).
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023, should apologise to Tinubu and Nigerians, according to Keyamo.
The minister described Atiku’s trip to Chicago to expose Tinubu as futile in a post on X.
According to Keyamo, “From the responses by Chicago State University, ATIKU’s journey to Chicago and back has been a journey to nowhere, a fruitless exercise, and an odyssey in self-humiliation. President Tinubu and Nigerians deserve an unreserved apology from him.”
Tinubu’s academic records were provided by CSU in response to a court order in Chicago.
Following a thorough search, the CSU determined that three diplomas matched the certificate Tinubu gave to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Atiku won in court in his legal battle to investigate Tinubu’s academic qualifications for the February 25 presidential election.
Tinubu had provided certificates from Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to secure eligibility to participate in the election.
On Saturday, a United States of America court ordered CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records for verification and in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
In a decision, Justice Nancy Maldonado disregarded Tinubu’s opposition to Atiku’s request and explicitly ordered that the CSU deliver the academic records to Atiku.
