JAMB CAPS Accept Admission Status Portal 2019/2020: How to Accept or Reject admission offer on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal. 

Did you wish to participate in the 2019 Post-UTME Screening Exercise? Is your name among the list of candidates offered provisional admission into your chosen institution for the 2019 academic session? If yes, we are pleased to inform you that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to enable candidates to accept or reject their admission offer.


The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB introduced the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to ensure quality control, transparency, and credibility of the admission process. If you are offered admission on the JAMB CAPS portal, you can choose to accept or reject the admission.

Candidates can now accept or reject their admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal by following the procedures below. Please note that this exercise is entirely FREE and no scratch card is required. After accepting your admission offer, you can now proceed to print your admission letter on Jamb caps portal.

Before proceeding make sure to use compatible browser/chrome on desktop or laptop computers, which will enable you to print out your admission letter.

  • Visit JAMB CAPS Admission Checking Portal on (http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility)
  • Enter your registered Email and Password in the required space.
  • Log in and click on ‘Check 2019 UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS‘.
  • Select ‘Admission Status‘ on the left panel.
  • You can now accept/reject your admission offer under ‘Admission Profile’.
