JAMB Approved CBT Centres 2019/2020: JAMB Releases full list of Examination centres in Nigeria.
The management of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates participating in the upcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to start printing their examination notification slip before Friday 9th March 2018.
This was disclosed by JAMB Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who noted that printing of slip is important for candidates in order to get the date and time scheduled for their examination early. He also stated that about 1.6 million candidates are expected to write the UTME in 602 centres across the country.
Ahead of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which will begin on Friday, March 9 to March 17, the full list of the examination centres across the country has been released.
The spokesperson of the board Fabian Benjamin in a phone interview with Premium Times said the notification slip also carries the time and date allocated to each candidate. He said the candidate should ensure they print before Friday noting that the board will not reschedule the exam.
According to him, ”Printing of the E-slip is important for candidates in order to get the date and time scheduled for their examination early, also lateness will not be tolerated.”
The board’s head of media and information department, Fabian Benjamin, said in Lagos on Sunday, March 4, that arrangements had been concluded for the successful conduct of the exam scheduled to hold from March 9 to March 17.
He said: ”With have successfully conducted the Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, February 26, and based on that, we can confidently say, we are good to go.”
“The mock UTME was to expose the candidates to the process as well as test the level of preparedness of the various centres.”
