Dunamis Building Collapse: Alia visits scene, blames church leadership

Fr Hayicnth Alia, Governor of Benue State, has chastised the leadership of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre for creating a subpar edifice.
Chronicle NG reported the church caved in early Tuesday morning, killing the resident pastor, Ahmed Sunday, and injuring others.
When he visited the location, the Governor expressed displeasure that he did not meet any of the church’s officials on the ground.
He stated that the structure was poorly constructed and that it would be demolished.
He stated that the church’s head should be aware of the legislation.
“We have to locate where the leadership of the church is and to inform them that the land has been revoked because we have to save lives.
“Those living along the waterways would vacate immediately.
“So the Ministry of Works, Housing and Urban Development should step in.
Chronicle NG gathered that the unfortunate incident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday left a pastor dead as the building caved in.
“I need to know who approved this structure. We need to know the engineers or the architects who monitored this gigantic project.
“We need to stop these from happening.”
Dr. Paul Enenche is the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis Church with headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory
